This weekend is Easter weekend and all around town had different egg hunts going on. So the kids and I decided to take a few of them in. The first stop was the zoo where they were having some activities. We had to stop and visit the easter bunny which Emily told me was the most important thing.

We did a few games and some crafts then Cody wanted to feed the goats so we headed off that way.

After feeding them we came across a good place to sit down for a moment. It was so pretty I couldnt help but take a photo.

After that we decided to head to another egg hunt at a local school. This was the first real egg hunt of the day. Somehow we timed it where there was only about 10 mins till the kids got to hunt. We started the countdown then they where off, where i quickly lost where they went.

Somehow I was able to find them both and was amazed by the number of eggs they got.

After that one we headed up to another one at a park. This one had so many eggs they dropped them out of the helicopter.

It was one of the coolest things I have ever seen and the kids were so excited about it. While waiting for the egg hunt to start Cody climbed a rock wall and made it almost to the top. I was so proud of him, that wall was huge.

Then the egg hunt started and once again I lost the kids and once again they came back with full baskets (and so did everyone around us). On the way out Emily had to stop and watch the dancers.

She has really gotten into watching other people dance, she even loves the dancing with the stars show. Then it was time to head home and color eggs. I made the mistake of saying we would die the eggs and Cody wanted to know why we where killing eggs. The did a great job on the eggs and left them all out for the Easter Bunny.
