Last week Emily went to day camp for girl scouts. We went out to a pond where the girls got to ride in canoes, search for water bugs and do a treasure hunt of all the different things growing around the pond. They had so much fun, we started with the canoes. Emily rode with two of the other mom's and one other girl, while another mom, 3 little girls and I rode in another one. After that we went for a hike around the pond to see what kind of fun outdoors stuff we could find.
Lucky there has been snow and so not much was out. After that we did Emily's favorite part and went hunting for water bug. They all got to use little nets to find the bugs then we took the buckets up and figured out what they were. It was a ton of fun and I'm going to see if we can get Cody's boyscout pack up there.
