Last night we went to
Amusement Park Drive-in out in Laural. I haven't been to one sense I was about ten and all though I didn't have a truck bed it was really fun. We found a good spot to park and ordered a pizza then set our radio for the right station. The kids played, ate and enjoyed the nice spring night while waiting for the movie to start.
The best part of the drive-in is it does two movies for one price, last night it was
How to train your dragon and
She's out of my league. The first movie was really cute and I would recommend it to anyone looking to take the kids to a movie. The kids just loved it and are still talking about Toothless the dragon. The second movie was a rated R movie but I figured the kids would be asleep by the time it started. Unfortunately the kids weren't sleeping so we didn't stay around for it. It was so much fun to go back to a drive-in and I think we will make it a monthly thing till the end of summer. Today Emily and I had a girls day while Cody went fishing with Grandma and Tom. We invited Bayliegh to join us for some shopping, seeing Grandpa, had lunch, went to the park and just and a fun girls day out. Cody on the other hand was out on the river catching the fish. I asked him when he came home what was his favorite part he said "smashing the fish". They were catfish shopping and I guess they smash up little fish to use as bait, and I didn't want to know how they smash them so I didn't ask. When they got home Grandma got one fish, Tom got one fish and Cody got three fish.
He is very proud that he got the most fish. The funny thing is I decided to get his fish tank put back up and got three fish for him, before I knew he had got that many. It has been a wonderful weekend and we still have a very sunny and warm Sunday to enjoy.
