I haven't been very good about updating this lately so I will do the last three weeks. To save space and time I just made most the photo's into a video and I will link the still shots I have on facebook.
The first was our fishing trip on the Yellowstone River. It was the last time we had really amazing weather, after that it got cold again. Emily actually enjoyed this trip, she got to wear a dress, got a couple fish (all though she wouldn't actually touch them) and we stoped by to have lunch on shore and she made friends with a puppy. Cody as always loved the trip. He only got one fish but the fish he got played with him. After we put it back in the river the fish would jump up by the boat somewhere and he did that for the longest time. Cody thought it would be fun to re catch him with the fish net, however the fish kept outsmarting him. It was a nice relaxing day with sunshine and my Mom and Tom.
The next weekend we had my sisters wedding. I am so happy that my baby sister has found someone who makes her happy. Joe I welcome you officially to our family. I know you have been part of it for awhile but now you are an official nut. I wish you both a lifetime of happiness and joy. No matter what bad things are tossed at you I believe you can both pull out over it. My sister looked amazing in her dress, it was worth every second of thought and questions she had. To have all my family in one room was a blast. It was a little rainy for awhile but the preacher asked for it to stop and put his hands to the sky it all stopped (I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it). After the wedding it was time for good food, good drink, lots of laughter and dancing. If anyone is looking for a place to do things Oscar Park was amazing.
This weekend we started it with a family get together out at Pizza Hut, those poor workers didn't know what hit them. My cousins girl was graduating from high school so everyone is in town to say congrats to that. I haven't seen her sense she was just a few months old and alot of the family that was there I haven't seen for as long. It was nice catching up on life in person and not just off facebook.
Yesterday I took the kids up to Lewis and Clark Caverns. It is a 3/4 mile hike up the mountain and a hour and half hike back down from the inside. Inside are all kinds of neat water drippings and rock formations, if I remember it right they are limestone. If anyone from Montana (or anyone coming to Montana) hasn't been I highly recommend you going. They tell the story of how when they first found this cave it would take 12 hours from start to finish, they would have to hike up from the river, down though the cave, back up the cave and back down to the river. I am so glad we now have cars and roads and it only takes two hours now. At one point they shut off all the lights and you saw what it looked like back when, you cant see a thing. I have never been anywhere where it was so dark. Some of these photos aren't the best, you couldn't use flash in some of the rooms (after all you don't want to wake the bats up). We had a little 6 month old baby in our group and she cried in one of the bat rooms and everyone shhhh'ed her at the same time, was kind of funny.
